Imagine an endless expanse of pristine green meadows, surrounded by some of the tallest Himalayan peaks. Sounds fascinating right? This is what you will be experiencing for real when you go for Ali Bedni Bugyal Trek. This high altitude meadow trek begins from Lohajung in Uttarakhand and is Asia’s largest high altitude meadow. The trek starts from a beautiful Himalayan village called Lohajung and we make our way on to Didina. A long day awaits us as the trekking trail is steep and will require every bit of effort, but your efforts would be rewarded as you would get to camp out amidst the mountains at Didina. From Didna, we will trek to Khobal Tal and also make a stop at Ali Bugyal, a bugyal whose beauty is enchanting and will draw you in. The walk to Bedni Bugyal is intoxicating. It makes one feel like removing their shoes to feel the soft carpet of grass. A strip of vibrant green overlooks the Western Valley. This trek is a must-do on a trekker’s bucket list.

The group will assemble at the pickup point at 06:00 AM. Afterward, you'll be introduced to the whole group and a small briefing session would also be provided. Afterward, we’ll head out for Lohajung. En-route, we will traverse through Rudraprayag and get to see some beautiful views. We'll reach Lohajung in the evening and check into our designated home stays. Dinner will be served in the evening followed by overnight stay. *The pick-up point would be Rishikesh ISBT (tentative).
Day 2 - Lohajung to Didina

After early morning breakfast, a small briefing session where all the necessary details about the trek will be shared. We will head towards Didina which is our first basecamp. After a few hours of trekking, We will check into the Didina campsite where lunch will be served. The rest of the day is at leisure but trekkers are advised to explore the quaint village. In the evening, we will indulge in some group bonding sessions, followed by dinner and an overnight stay in Didina.
Day 3 - Didina to Ali Bugyal

Post breakfast, we'll head towards Ali Bugyal. All the necessary details about the trekking trails for the rest of the day will be shared. En-route we will be making a pit stop at Tolpani which is the last point for acquiring water on this trek. As you ascend upwards, you will be traversing through oak forests that will give way to the alpine meadows of Ali Bugyal. Upon reaching Ali Bugyal, we will set up camps and have lunch with the beautiful meadow in the backdrop. The rest of the day is at leisure. You can spend peaceful moments in the lap of nature. Dinner will be served in the evening followed by an overnight stay at our campsite.
Day 4 - Ali Bugyal to Ghairoli Patal via Bedni Bugyal

Our next basecamp on this trek is Ghairoli Patal. After having morning tea and breakfast, we will head towards Ghairoli Patal. En route, we'll be traversing through Bedni Bughyal. A pristine Himalayan meadow provides a stunning view of the peaks of Trisul and Nanda Ghati. The meadow has mythological significance as well because the locals believe that Lord Bhrama wrote the Vedas here. Upon reaching Gharoli Patal, we will have lunch. The rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner will be served in the evening followed by an overnight stay at Gharoli Patal basecamp.
Day 5 - Gharoli Patal to Lohajung

After breakfast, we'll start our descent. We will witness streams of Neel Ganga flowing ceaselessly as we walk. WE can make a pit stop here for a breather and enjoy the serene view. We will reach Wan Village which is the last point of our trekking trail. We will drive towards Lohajung and Check-in at our homestays. The rest of the day is at leisure but trekkers are advised to go for local sightseeing and souvenir shopping. Dinner will be served in the evening followed by an overnight stay in Lohajung.
Day 6 - Lohajung to Rishikesh

Post breakfast, we will start the return journey to Rishikesh. We'll reach our destination Rishikesh in the evening. The group will disassemble and part their ways with fond memories. End of tour.

Exclusions

Things to carry
Backpack (Min 55 Ltrs with rain cover): A good quality backpack from a good brand and try it before buying.
Day backpack: 20 – 30 Ltrs.
Floaters or Sandals: When you are at the camp, they help you to move freely.
Trekking Shoes: Always invest in good quality high ankle trekking shoes. They are lightweight, have a good grip, are sturdy, and are easily available throughout India.

We have two pickup points, Rishikesh and Lohajung. Guests can choose to board from either of them.

No cancellations will be taken over the call or WhatsApp message. Please reply to the email of the payment receipt that you have received at the time of booking.

44 Days to 30 days of Departure date. 10% of the total trip cost. (Booking amount is non-refundable)
29 Days to 20 Days of Departure date. 25% of the total trip cost.
19 Days to 10 Days of Departure date. 50% of the total trip cost.
9 Days to 6 Days of Departure date. 75% of the total trip cost.
5 Days to Trip Departure date. 100% of the total trip cost.

In case of government orders, harsh weather conditions, protests, landslides, or any other unforeseen circumstances, we work out the best possible alternate plans or trips/treks. At times even certain activities are canceled, the organization provides the best alternative but no refunds are provided.
If a trek is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, etc.), JustWravel will issue a trek voucher for the full amount and if possible will provide an alternate trek.
The voucher can be redeemed up to the same amount for the same trek or another trek in the next 365 days from the trek departure date. But no refund would be provided.
Any extra expense due to any natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.), will be borne by the customer. The company will not be liable.
Cancellations policy will differ during the peak season and for popular destinations

Vouchers are non-transferable and valid only for the services mentioned herein.
Any services not specifically requested, confirmed and noted on vouchers will not be rendered.
All extras are to be paid directly to the hotels/the service providers.
Please stick to itinerary, anything extra shall be chargeable (at the location itself.)
Any service unused is non-refundable.
The company shall not be liable for damages/charges incurred by travelers if any of the following reasons apply:
Natural disaster, war, civil unrest, and alteration or cancellation of tour itinerary due to such causes.
Accidents during transportation or accommodations, damage by fire.
Orders of either Indian governments or immigration regulations, isolation resulting from infectious diseases, and tour itinerary alteration or cancellation owing to such causes.
Accidents occurring during the travelers free activities.
Food poisoning.
